The hunt is in Decatur county not to far off I-40 in Parsons TN. We enjoy it every year. I hunted in 09 and won dog food and a nice trophy for 11th place. If I remember right the top ten got dog boxes,garmins,tri-tronics,etc. There are dogs shows , water races, treeing contest, coon hunt, dog vendors dog barn, auction, food food and more food. We make it a family event and take all the kids we can. I look forward to meeting new people every year. See yall there.
Yeah thats one thing I am glad of I give them money every month I am fortunate my family has not had to go there but give for the ones that do. I hope that they find cure for all dieases one day . God bless you all and your family and friends as I know how fortunate we are to see every day.
Anybody got an good contact numbers for someone who knows about the parsons TN hunt for saint judes. I am trying to find out if you can put a camper on the grounds and who you need to contact to reserve the spot no numbers on the information sheet are answering.HELP
There is always a bunch of campers there but I couldn't tell you who to call to reserve a spot. If its a smaller camper some just park them in the dirt parking lot and stay in them. The spots beside the building you probably need a reservation for but I am not positive.
Anyone ever been before? Is this a good place for a persons first comp hunt? Would I need a handler? Are there any prizes ( money, tracking systems, ect.). Long drive just wondering about the incentives to offset the fuel costs or is it strictly a benefit hunt?
