I myself don't have a lot of money to buy a big name dog but every dog on my place other than 2 that my son owns were born here and the mom is still here the dad just died 3momths ago but I get what u mean Msmith dogs r high but most of the time ur gettin wht u pay for but I tell u what I got a 13 English gyp that I gave away she was 85% accurate she will not run trash and that's the honest truth she's reg and she's a show champ and a gnight champ I've had 7 litters off of her and she was my main dog but the boy I gave her to was a friend of my sons when they were in high school and he just had to have him a dog and he laid her up in the pin for 8 months and never messed with her other than to feed her and when season came around he took her out she didn't hunt the way he thought she should so he put a bullet in the back of her head right there when I heard about it I called him and he said well she ran around for an hour and just barked needless to say my son beat the ##*%* out of him cause we raise that dog from a puppy so that's y most people don't give dogs away cause when u give a youth a dog u tryin stay in contact with em to see how it's goin and a lot of times u get burne on the deal and just to say this the day before I have the boy that gyp I took her out and she treeed me 8 coons in an hour and a half
Sorry to hear that... I would agree with this, I try to not to sell a dog until.there well started, I find that does two things, first you.can ask more which helps in sure the new owner will take care of them being they spent some money, on the dog and second they should tree coon for the new owner right off the bat which should make a first good impression, which I've found often can go a long way.
