It has been a long time since I've posted anything on any forum and I've done a lot of growing up and I have a question for everyone here. Has anyone on this forum just needed a break? I've been hunting five to six nights a week for the last 8 months and I'm just flat burned out on the coon huntin game right now, I live in Michigan so normally, this time of year, it slows down a lot due to weather, but this year with our friend El Nìno in our midst it's still almost 60 degrees some days and it's almost January! I should still be hitting it hard with a good started female that needs the time in the woods to continue her training. Guys and gals I feel guilty saying I've hunted on average only two nights a week as of late and even that's been a chore, I feel like I just need a break for a solid month and I can get back to it but I'm worried the nice looking g female is just rotting away, any one ever been through this? Happy hunting and merry christmas to all of you!

Once every few months I seem to naturally take a month where I only hunt a couple of nights a week. Usually just get busy with life. Also in the summer it just gets too hot. But I always bounce back. I think the trick is don't ever actually stop. If you do that you'll never go back and your life will just be boring again.

right now I hunt about every night. Because when The time changes here in Inidana I don't get to hunt at all. I have a job a that I get up at 4 am to get there and it is hard to turn a dog a loose at 10 pm at night and expect to get a good nights sleep.
