I currently have a plott that will be 2 years old in nov and plan to get a pup in the summer due to the fact im in college and live in a dorm so dont got much time. I hunt with a group for bear that hunts plotts. My dog is used for bear and coon and have no problems with him. I was thinking of trying another breedbut am undecided wether i should do that or not. Any suggestions or help would greatly be appreciated.[/url]

I guess my best answer would be to look into a breed that you like the looks of best. Once you have decided, then do some research on what lines within that breed would best suit your needs and take it from there. There are some very fine lines of hounds in every breed.
