A good friend of mine offerd to give me a purebred "Falkner Curr" pup yesterday. He said they were going to have some in about a year from now and the only thing he told me about them was that they were a little smaller then a traditional coonhound and the sire and dam were both good hunting dogs. Has anybody ever heard of a "Falkner Curr" before or know anything about them? Thanks.

I couldn't find much about the breed but Falkner is usually spelled Faulkner if that helps.

Thanks. Do you know what one looks like? I've been trying to find some pics on the computer today but haven't had any luck at all.

They're a type of Stephens Cur.... just inbetween the size of a stephens and a coonhound. I read of stephens and faulkners alot when I was a kid and got Full Cry. I've always wanted to run with some. Everything I read about them sounds really nice and I always liked the pic.'s I've seen. The breeders however aren't good at using the internet. Any pic.'s, websites or info. on the web is seldom to none.

If anyone has any stephens/faulkners close to Jasonville, Indiana please let me know. I'd love to check them out.
