It tastes alot like eagle and alittle like whooping crane. Maybe even a hint of wolf thrown in there from time to time. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Bear meat is too tasty to grind it all into sausage. The steaks and roasts will put venison to shame. The most important thing with bear is to get them cool quick or the meat will taste gamey. Bear has a lot of fat that retains body heat and leads to quick spoilage.

My family and I love bear. To me it tastes better than roast beef. If i had a choice between venison,moose and bear id chose bear.
