I just recently got a Great Dane an Pitbull cross pup for catch and I wanna use redbones to bay how would I go about training the dogs and how many should I use

if I were going to start over again ,I would go with someone experienced and ask as many questions as I could think of about this sport.as far as starting a catch dog,that wont be hard at all,most pits will catch naturally so u want have to train it only get it some practice.if u can use a hog to start a dog with n ur state ,start with a smaller pig for the pup and work way up in size until dog is big enough to take hunting.with the bay dogs its a little bit different I encourage you to accompany some one on a hunt if at all possible.poor man's grizzly can be rough on man and dogs alike.

We do some hog bayin competition and the bird dogs that compete are usually on the a- game, and some of the ruffest I've hunted with are bird/bull crossed .
