Im looking for a pup to start bobcat hunting with and im looking for big game bloodlines that might excel in cats. It doesnt matter what breed even tho im blue and brindle partial. I know their are the cameron blueticks and the pochahantas plotts but thats about it. any info on some other breeds would be apriacated. Like i said im just looking right now in hope that i can find something that fits

You wanna get a lipper bred walker, the just had a litter out of his semen. Dr. Law is one of the males out of this litter being offered up for stud. A lot of these hound are being hunted on big game. They will put some distance down.

I run Vaughn/Smokey River dogs on lions and coons, but if I was a bobcat hunter I would be running any dog I could get cheap off someone that was unhappy with it cause it was a silent trail dog. Put up a bobber lickity split. I can never find those kind of dogs when I'm lookin for them, but they are around cause I hear from someone from time to time that's trying to get rid of a dog like that. They always say "his only fault is that he's silent on track". Well for a bobcat dog that's a good thing.

Look into minisink valley blueticks. He's been breeding blueticks longer than Del Cameron. Or Upson bred.
