if a pup is a little afraid of water ,,wuts the best way to break it,,ive heard some ol school tech bout jus throwin their behinds rite in there and alllll but any other techs would be aprreciated

my pup had the same problem. all they need is confidence they arent going to get hurt in the water. what i did was get wet with him. i just grabbed him by his collar and went in the water, and just walked beside him while he paddled. he got better, and will cross smaller canals, but still needs some more confidence...good luck

Maybe being distracted or focused on something else like a caged coon & an older dog working the coon. With age & security like said above will probably be fine ! Don't be impatient . GOOD LUCK!
