i have owned one. he had a great disposition, however he failed to stay up with my pack of foxhounds. He had the biggest mouth i have ever heard. I swear you could hear him for miles. The first time i hunted him he bellowed so loud that 3 of my older broke dogs came running back to me scared and i had to walk them onto the track for them to honor him and start trailing. He had a great nose, worked a track well, didnt suit gave him away. Have run with one before that could get to the front of a pack of hounds and stay there, the english foxhunters gave him to this fellow because he was too fast for their pack. The one i owned didnt suit me, but have seen one that did, I would say mine moved fast as a LARGE tree stock hound would, just didnt have enough to stay with the running dogs.
