Post subject:  Preaching in Owsley County ky.
Hi: My name is Barry Hubbard, I live in Manchester Ky. I will be in Owsley Co. Saturday night (6/26/10) preaching at a little church I think is in the Upper Buffalo area, Preacher Roy Allen and Preacher Rollin Bradshaw (with the Booneville Baptist Association) has asked me to come down and help out for a little while. Brother Roy is coming with me the first night to show me where it is, but I am wondering if any one on here knows where it is, they hold services on Saturday nights. Thanks Barry Hubbard!!! :D

Upper Buffalo Baptist church in Owsley County, Ky. :D

7/3/10 we will be having Church, Sunday School service for the kids and Bible study for the adults beginning at 6:00 PM and Church at 7:00 PM
Every one that knows where it is or lives in the area is more than welcome to come and join us. I plan on preaching there until GOD sends me elsewhere or they get tired of my preaching.

how every thing go, did you have a great turn out. if you ever get down my way come and preach. I go to church in mccreary co. ky. we are fixing to ordain a preacher. GOD Bless

Went good, but the turn out was very low, I went to visit with a man that use to go to Upper Buffalo and lives in the area, I talked to him for a little while and asked him to pray about coming back to Upper Buffalo Church next Saturday night.

Last Saturday night went good. We had a few more that came out to Church, 10 people total there. (we had 4 the Saturday night before last). I am praying for a little bigger turn out this Saturday night (7/17/10).

around 12 to 15 is usefully what we have every Sunday. it will get better. we will be ordain a preacher tonight. GOD Bless

Thanks tnridgerunner! :D I know it will take a little time for the people to come back, because they have not had a preacher since May 8th, 2010.
I went down on June 28th, 2010 and preached the first time there, but with GOD'S help things will get better. Amen

God is blessing us at Upper Buffalo, we had a family of 4 from Frankfort Ky. come and worship with us. Our turn out is still down, but praise God we are having a great time in the Lord. We have started running a church bus, and have enough money to pay all the bills! GOD IS GREAT!!!

Stay strong brother. There are no small churches. The first church I pastored was in a little town in WV and there were many evenings with only 10-15 people but they were some of the greatests services I've ever been a part of. God Bless.

Church is going good, still not many coming out but we are having some wonderful services, praise God.

Another good Saturday night. This morning I went and got some of the members and took them to the little Church (Mud Lick Baptist) I went to as a kid, I also accepted Jesus Christ at the little Church. We had a wonderful time at Church. It was great to worship with all my friends at Mud Lick Baptist Church. The Holy Spirit was all over the house, some one should have gotten saved. After Church we stopped by my place and got us some Little Caesars pizza and crazy bread. We had such a great time!
