I preached the funeral of my best friend and used Romans chapter 10 verses 9 through 10 for some of the preaching. That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Think about this neither is there salvation in any other for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Acts chapter 4 verse 12. Jesus Christ is the only way to get to heaven. NO other man died on the cross other than Jesus Christ, that perfect Lamb of God. A man at the funeral also gave his heart to Jesus.
