In my travels to a great many different churches to preach it seems like a lot of people are wanting to be rich with the things of the world or be like the world. It was JESUS CHRIST that died on the cross for us that we would have everlasting life, not the world or anything of the world. So don't you think that we should love Him and not the world or anybody or anything of the world. The BIBLE says in 1 John Chapter 2: Verses 15, 16 and 17: Love not the world neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world passeth away and the lust thereof but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Thank you for reading, Rev. Don Ridley |
