The houndsmans world lost a wonderful person!! This is the gentleman that I bought Ole Dan from 12 years ago.. He was involved with the local clubs throughout his life.. I had the pleasure of visiting with him the last time on May 5th at the hunt and show in Thief River Falls, MN.. This gentleman was the kindest, most honest, sincere person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!!

WHITE EARTH, Minn. (AP) - A 77-year-old man was killed in an ATV accident Sunday evening, the Becker County Sheriff's Office reported Monday.

Deputies were called to a spot along Highway 21 about 3 miles north of White Earth at 7:39 p.m. They found Warren Charles Ladue had been severely injured when he was thrown from his ATV and struck a fence after his vehicle went down an embankment.

He was pronounced dead the scene and transported to a funeral home in Detroit Lakes.

The sheriff's office said speed was not a factor in the accident

:( The only good that I can find in this... is knowing that when Ole Dan goes to heaven (which wont be long now) ..... Sonny will be there to greet him with a big ole pet and a coon squawler!!

Susie- How nice of you to acknowledge your friend.
Sounds like he was doing what he wanted to be doing at the time of his death.
As always, we just never know.
