I thought I would post this poem that I wrote a few months back for a woman. Well here it is. A Woman's Prayer By: Melanie Russell As I bow my head to cry, I hope that wasnt our last goodbye. Maybe I'll get to say I love them agian, And ask how their day has been. As I bow my head to pray, Lord let me live another day. I know the disease is killing me, but whatever it is I'll pay the fee. As I bow my head to see, My two children praying for me. "Lord watch over my mommy tonight, So she can show us what's wrong and right." As I bow my head to say, Lord thank you for another day. It's been 7 years only by your grace, For the disease has left without a trace. |
