On October 22nd, Microsoft will be releasing the new operating system Windows 7. I had pre-ordered it months ago. Since this will be a whole new operating system, I plan on shutting down for about a week to get familar with the ends and outs of this system as well as to test compatibility with all the different software I run.

I know Vista was a pain when it came to working with software and Windows 7 is suppose to be totally completely different than all the other previous Windows operating systems.

I will not be updating websites or creating any new sites during that week.

Looks like I'll be back up and running Monday..........Been working on this swap this weekend...........Only reason for upgrade was because I can't stand Vista............If you have XP, I would suggest you hold on to XP until Microsoft no longer supports it -- That is what I am doing on my other computers.

Have had to install lot of hacks to get Windows 7 to do what I want it to do like with the previous operating systems.

To those upgrading as well -- have fun!!
