hi
the past two months we've had 5 dogs die from the same thing. We've had two dogs at Michigan state hospital getting autopsied. They cant find anything wrong with them, But there still looking for answers no one seems to know what is going on. the symptoms start with the dog having eye boogers and runny noses than it will start losing weight and mucus outta the nose turns to blood outta the nose and the get booger-ed shut, than the nerves system goes and then the dogs dead.

If anyone has had this happen, any input would help.

thanks for you time,

We lost a dog to blastomycosis, caused by them breathing in spores, sets up infection in their lungs... It was a. Bad deal. If your dogs are digging in the same spots and it's in the ground, this could cause them all to get it. Google it, she was what I called kind of congested at first, wouldn't eat, got down in her front leg, it got better, then she got down in her back leg, drolled ALOT..just went downhill from there.. If you can catch it early enough, ya got a better chance at saving them. She had a pup in the pin with her and I just shrugged it off as she's probably aggravated at that puppy messing with her, but she was sick. I pay a lot more attention now. Hope ya figure it out!
