along with alot of what you guys mentioned...we keep Clotisol and Corn Starch on hand for Ranger so if he gets hurt on a search we can stop the bleeding.

Flour, blukote, assorted gauze and tape. Those are my essentials til i get home or to a vet

I am guessing that would be for packing a wound to stop bleeding.

Yes does to stop or or get it to clot up if you don't have anything else right on hand

Im an EMT with the local fire department so when i built my ems jump bag i ordered 2 of basically everything. Use an orange ems bag for humans and a blue one for dog stuff. guaze, gloves, ace bandages, "athletic tape", trauma scheers, windsheild punch... it was almost as cheap to just buy 2 of everything (except scheers, ever call i go on they seem to get stolen) plus i keep extra supplies around
