along with alot of what you guys mentioned...we keep Clotisol and Corn Starch on hand for Ranger so if he gets hurt on a search we can stop the bleeding. |

Flour, blukote, assorted gauze and tape. Those are my essentials til i get home or to a vet |

Buckshot or anyone else that posted flour. I am guessing that would be for packing a wound to stop bleeding. Very VERY very uneducated guess but hey curiosity killed the cat lol |

Yes does to stop or or get it to clot up if you don't have anything else right on hand |

Im an EMT with the local fire department so when i built my ems jump bag i ordered 2 of basically everything. Use an orange ems bag for humans and a blue one for dog stuff. guaze, gloves, ace bandages, "athletic tape", trauma scheers, windsheild punch... it was almost as cheap to just buy 2 of everything (except scheers, ever call i go on they seem to get stolen) plus i keep extra supplies around |
