Well we decided to start running the dogs again before the season starts here in the next month or so. We took are 4 year old walker maggie and are year and a half old walker reece. We havnt hunted these 2 dogs together since march which has been almost 7 months ago. I didnt really know how it would turn out because of the heat. It was quite hot, and it had been so long since they were hunted. We turned out around 8:45 and the old girl didnt miss a beat. She had one treed in about 30 minutes time and the young girl ran with her the whole way in the heat. It really made me feel good about the year ahead and got me bakc into the hunting fever. Just felt like sharing with yall and bragging on my dogs a little bit.

Good to hear someone else is out and enjoying some late summer running. Glad your dogs are doing good. I went out last night with my 2 oldest kids and my neighbor and his 2 walker dogs (I lost my 3 yr old english red tick last Feb.). We had a couple of good tracks but couldn't get anything to stick. The weather has been real hot and dry here though. It was still good to get out and hear the dogs run. Good luck this season.

wheathers been lil dry here but its gettin down to low 40s and hunting been good..if u can get where there r coon round my house there aint many coonbut when we go where there aresome the hunting is great..pups improving lil by lil just needs to flip that switch..
