Trapped a coon the other night and got my trap out last night. Well when I got home today, I thought I'd see what my lil pup thought about it. Took the cage and sit it just bout six inches out of reach of my dogs chain, and let me tel you I thought my lil 4 month old was gonna break his chain trying to get to that ol ringtail.

Well, I released the coon where he could see it today and gave it about a 20 yard head start and turned him loose. He trailed it and ran behind it till it went in a hole and then just turned around and came back to me. Is this normal for such a young dog?
