this is a true story, i have witness,s. back in the 1970,s when coon hides where high me and two of my hunting buddies went up to columbus ohio huntin coons were thick up there. we started killing coon some the dogs treed, some we seen sitting up, we couldn,t carry them so we started skinning them as fast as we could. we had 4 or 5 on the ground and the dogs were treed we where in a hurry we was skinning down to the last one i heard something in the leaves looked over and one of them coons we had skinned was up walking around awful sight. i started over to kill it and put it out of its missery,the old guy that was with me from w.va said let him go he will grow another hide and we will skin him again. i went ahead and killed him. this was not done on purpose i am not that cold hearted
