About 3 mounths ago our 5 year old gyp trees a coon in some storm damaged timber. Me and my partner make the observation she shore sounds good tonight can here her across the county barkin treed.Get to the tree she has scaled a leaner and is in a fork 30 plus feet off the ground lookin at the coon.Well im not climbing the tree I will hit the ground too hard when i fall (notice when not if Im very self awared)so the plan is my compadrey is gona climb the leaner and drop the dog down and im gona catch her. This plan is suprisingly effective i got the dog on the leash no harm done. But my buddy is still up the tree I tell him nock that coon out lets run him again we got a couple of young dogs that need the work. He grabs a limb above his head and stands on the limb the coon is on crack here comes him the limb and the coon.He ends up flat of his back with three walkers and a mad 30 pound coon on top of him gettin down and dirty.Coon gets free and runs up another tree partner just has the breath nocked out of him. Three nights ago i caught my 9 mounth old in a 15 feet deep hole looked like an old water well he had fallin into. The garmin showed him treed but i didnt hear anything followed the arow to the hole there he was lookin up at me.
