Last Friday night me and Blaze was out and wasn't seeing anything til after the moon set about 4:30 am and then I noticed that I was starting to see alot of possums and deer. I was moving down along the edge of a bean field next to a creek with my light off and Blaze just up ahead of me not far having just checked in. All of a sudden I stepped on something and it squirmed under foot and hit me in the side of the leg, at first I thought I had just stepped on Blaze but he didn't yelp or anything and I just kept walkin mumbling about how awkward the big pup was. But wait, Blaze was still up ahead of me and now the hair was springing up on the back of my neck and as I wondered what on earth I had just encountered. I spun around flicking on the light to see a possum curled up and a surge of relief turned to laughter as I thought how silly it was. I couldn't help but take the couple of steps back to gaze down at the critters goofy grin and then realized I was grinnin bigger than he was
