It has alot to due to what they eat and how many is taken!!!!! my buddy has a place that we hunt all the time tree 3 to 5 a night that are 15 lbs or plus.... we hunt it 2 to 3 nights a week plus night hunts but he will only take 2 to 3 a year other places 8 to 12 lbs are the normal..... The main problem with coons and other animals is these dang Turkeys I wish they would fall of the face of the earth....I hate em!!!! watching them during deer hunting a flock came up on a oak flat and when i got down there wasn't a acorn left in the flat....DEER AND TURKEY is all the GAME COMMISSON in VA is worried bout.... you will get fined and jailed more for killing a turkey than a person....I wished they would all get something and wipe em out at least where I hunt!!!!

Ok this is going to be hard to believe but I shot that coon out with a pellet rifle, about 17 pellets and finally got on a long and I shook him out and finished him with my boot!!
