Dumped the dogs at the creek bank down they went 2 min. later COPPER starts treeing. Shes in a old Combine DAISY is right with her. we pull the inspection covers off the sifter and there he is. we get dogs out get a T post to run the coon out and the pup RUSTER starts bayin up. We get him out down the creek he runs. Turn dogs out 250 yards down the creek Copper & Daisy tree we take off on a run then we hear them bay up. We get there as Ruster jumps in to help we cut REGGIE loose they work this Big Boar like they done it 100 times. They keep it busy but the boar is holding his own after around 15 min of bayin up i reach in with my 17 HMR all the dogs clear. i shoot as he moves i shoot threw the neck. i run the bolt reach in again all dogs clear that shot did the trick we get every thing back to the truck take the coon home . weight him 32.7 Lb on a digital scale. skinned and it streched 54 inch nose to tail. Daisy and Rusters first wild coon . possable Reggies first wild coon.. thanks Copper pups loved the help. was a good night PEN-G for everyone
