So before I was born and when I was little my dad had coon dogs and I always heard stories. So I started dating a guy who is in to coon hunting and finally got my dad to go...man how they did things before now idk but it was so funny to see my dad out in the woods with us he was a little slow but that is because he is out of shape and we made him carry the beer lol I cant wait till his pup and mine are trained cause it's goin to be awesome he is so excited and hope this will be a good thing and get some good father/daughter time. Even though last night wasnt the best it was funny cause my boyfriend said the dog was off and my little cousin said "everyone has an off night" maybe laugh so hard almost peed cause he was trying to stick up for the dog. Got to love kids. Thanks everyone for reading just woundering how many older kids go huntin with their parents?

i just turned 16 a few months back, and my dad and i have been hunting since we started running my first dogs last summer. Why, he even helped me train those crazy little rascals!! lol he is probably one of the best hunting partners i could have, his knees are getting kind of shot, but it's okay, because he does the best he can, which is really not that bad. it's definitely better than going it alone though!!

Yea that's awesome! It was just funny because my dad does things a certain way and I do things different but we got puppies together we are training I just love how he is getting back into he is a wiseman and is teaching me alot that I didnt know before and it's helping me and the dog! Thanks for sharing and reading!
