Took my 6 month old English out last night. We were walking on Leed when Liz picked her head up and she started to bark. I cut her loose and pulled out the garmin. Garmin said she was in about 163 yards choping all the way. Then she went quite for 15 to 20 seconds. Then it was 3 fast chops and she hammered it home. It was nice to look up the tree and seeing the meat, it was so cool to see all the long nights turning her loose wondering when and if she would ever tree. Best part of the night was walking back to the truck and talking about the night with friends and family. I'm new to coon hunting but I got to say I have made some new friends. And I like the walks in the woods holding hands with my 9 year old daughter.
