Back in the early 80's me and my friend were hunting a very cold nosed english dog named Drifter . He struck and went out of hearing so we pulled around on a gravel road on a high hill to listen. There wasn't any houses on the road and it was very rural area. I rolled down the window to listen and I heard something walking in the gravel. At first I thought it was old Drift but at that moment I realized it was 2 legged and I saw a man walk up to the brake light. I crank the truck and I left out sideways and I throwed gravel on whoever it was.Drifter treed about a mile away and everything was fine.I have thought about that night many times and I have no explanation for that event. I am sure if a man walks up to your truck at night in the middle of nowhere he is up to nogood.
