Well I'm 13 years old and I started training my redbone pup when he was 4 months old and tonight I took him out hunting with me 9 yearl old redbone.. I cut em loose and waited about 10 minutes and then I heard ol red my pup open up about 4 or 5 times then heard Maggie bark once and then nothin.. I waited for ten minutes And started walking up the road to find them and I heard something coming up behind me and it was red carrying his first coon.. I know he didn't tree it and I didn't shoot it out to him but I am still proud that all my hard training paid off for him to get a coon.. I still got a lot of tree work to do but this gave me more confidence in my dog..
