Took out my 3 year old bluetick and my 5 month old Redtick last night. (It was my pups second time out at nite.) Turned them loose and my blue dog struck right away and all of a sudden my pup started bawlin like crazy and when they come treed the pup was choppin his head off and standin on the tree i was all jacked up petted them up good and went and treed a couple more and the pup stuck right with it all the way to all three trees. think i'm gonna take him out by himself hopefully tonight if the wife lets me go again and walk him along cornfeilds and see if he can figure it out on his own now...i dont want him to rely on my other dogs all his life.
