Good to see shes interesed in them. If it helps try using a honey bun in your traps coons are eating acorns here right now pretty heavy and they can become a little harder to catch when they stay up eating for me at least. Try putting them around the pond and put a little brush and long grass over the top and back of the trap. Good luck now is a hard time to try and get a pup going on tracks unless coons are very populated in your area don't get discouraged though it will come with time.

If everyone had your attitude there wouldn't be any bad dogs, keep hunting trapping whatever and she will turn out.
To many people these days are to quick with the cull. I hunt dogs most wouldn't look at but there cheap and tree coon every time. They just needed a chance, alot like kids,,just give them a chance

By the way,,check out your local country grain elevator they will trap you a coon I bet. I trap coins at every elevator around me they want them gone! The big ones I skin and turn little ones loose.
Just a thought
