Made a short round last night and treed three times, first two had coons and the third was a big hollow beech tree. Left the truck at 9:05 and got back at 11:05. Not bad for getting a late start on a almost full moon night. Never turned on my walking light! Should have been through at 10:00 but I tried to get one more and that was the track that the dogs took 600 yrds straight away from the direction I wanted to go. Finally called them off and walked the 3/4 mile back to the truck. 5 AM seems to come earlier than it used to!!
Finally went out and bought a cheap camera to take pics with, phone camera with no flash sucks for documenting coon hunts.
Pic is my 5 yr old Moutnain Cur "Bear", not pictured but helping out on the tracks now is "Rambler" my 8 month Mountain Cur.
