The funniest thing I ever saw
Was a full grown man hunting a walker dog.
His friends say hunt walkers they’re the best ever bred
I say they’re just fox hounds or so I heard said.
They were shipped here from England to the coast in Virginia
Hot nosed tree dogs if that what you’re in to
They’re gammy for sure move with speed undenied
They tree now and then but nothing can find.
They once were coon dogs when I was a boy
Could run any track and did it with joy
Traits bred in so they’d stay at the tree
All for a dollar from the PKC
Now if a coon dog you’re wanting then take my advice, You can look at a walker but you’d better look twice.
