the guys I was hunting with use to hunt by themselves even when they were kids. They have no fear of the dark, and very little fear of hogs or anything else.It wasn't a well lit night, but the moon was the better side of half full.We had made one turn out that took all of 10 minutes. So we decide to make another even though it was a week night and would have to work the next day.we pulled up to a liitle draw and got out to release the dogs.Kevin had just dropped the tail gate when Blake yelled what the heck is that.Something was coing down the road towards us that was tall and harry and moving fast.Wow you should of seen two guys get in a truck fast.I panicked and jumped in the back.kevin got the truck started and put it in reverse before turning on the lights, because "IT" had gotten so close.Wham:we hit the ditch just as the lights came on.As I picked myself up off of the dog box I could hear laughter.right in front of the truck stood a llama.

Laughed my butt off. My husband was walking our B and T one day past a local farm/apple orchard... Heard the Strangest noise... pup was spooked... Turned to look and it was either a LLama or Alpaca... I forget which he told me. It made a few grunts... harmless behind it's fence... Usually you just see horses and ponies... At night I think it would give us heart attacks!
Happy hunting, Heather William
