Well me and another feller took one of my black n tan dogs out early monday am. (b4 it got hot) He took these 3 catahula cur dogs he owns and we turned loose. Dogs struck bout ten mins after they hit the wooods. We went down to where they were barking and they started moving beofre we could get an eye on what they had bayed up. I went to the truck to get my tracker. My buddy went to following the dogs. They were headed east.
I tracked the dogs for awhile and my buddy kept following the dogs. Well one of his dogs came back to the truck. I kept trackin my dog cuz she had gotten left out there b 4. I did not want that to happen again. They were stilll moving. My buddy said they were following the hog and baying him from time to time but they'd move before he could shoot the hog. My buddy finally caught the dogs at the river and brought two of his back in. Said he coulkdn't catch the B&T dog she just would not quit. I lost signal on my B&T for a minute. So we decided we'd get some food in us and water his dogs. We got back to the place we had turned the dogs loose and I got signal on the dog again. She had come back in whilke we were gone. It was way hot by now and I guess she had sence enough to quit and cool off a bit. We did not kill the hog but it sure sounds good to hear that B&T trail one.
