I have had a Moonshiner light for a little over a year. It has 6 intensities, and two bulb settings- high or low. It will only burn on the high side for 10 seconds or so if the intensity isn't all the way up to 6.

Never had a problem until now. I hunted Tuesday night and it worked fine. I charged it, and when I went last night it will only burn with the bulb setting to the high side. It sucks because I look like a mini city walking through the woods. If I turn it down from 6 on the intensity, then it shuts off quickly. Also killed the battery. I walked as much as possible without the light, and only got to hunt about two hours.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yup, bulb was the only problem. Replaced that and it's worked great as always.

I've had several lights and I have to say the Moonshiner is my favorite, and at a better price than the rest I've used...not to mention Donnal's quick response to my question here. Can't beat that service.

I wouldn't hesitate to send a friend to the Moonshiner light.

Tree talking b&t:

That's an important point you make. At least in my case, I am aware of how the light works. My problem was that it would ONLY burn on the high side. The low side wouldn't come on. Like I said, changed the bulb and it worked fine.

But it would be easy to get confused if someone bought a light and didn't read the instructions careful enough. It could get awful frustrating trying to figure out why your light may keep turning off!
