My father-in-law had me built a nice looking diamond-plate box for Christmas to replace the plywood one I built and have been using for awhile. It's a great box and plan to use it except it doesn't have top storage, which I love having.

Anybody ever have any luck adding a storage compartment on top after the box is built?

Depending on the size of your box, you can by a pre-built one.

Owens makes one that goes on top of the box.

buckshot i looked on owens website and couldnt find the pre made top storage compartments.. maybe they took them off the site or something. has anybody else ever built top storage on their box after it was finished?
