i have an 18v light that lasted about 10 houres at 1600ft abv sea level and now it only last about two or three at 7200ft abv sea level

any thoughts on why my light isnt lasting as long it is an 18v ni cad battery and it is fairly new

How much colder is it where you are, cold makes batteries last less.
