I am gonna buy a quick system. I am looking at a QTR10,but I see now there are some other quick track models with an internal super amp. I am wondering Should I save a little more for one with the internal amp or just buy the qtr10. I dont want to buy the QTR10 and then wish I had baught the other with the internal amp. Is there a big difference? Give me some feed back from you guys that are running the QT systems. Also when I buy one is there a difference in the bands and frequency's. I know I cant run the same as somebody I hunt with but other than that whats the difference. Also is there gonna be a vendor there at the St. Jude hunt selling them.

I have the QiT 6000 and love it. Great range and nice to be able to track all the frequencies so that I do not have to be selective on what the collar Freq. is.

According to QT all their new recievers now have the little extra receive built into them.

The R-400 will not track all the frequencies that the QT 6000 will.

The QT is great and I have been happy with it from the first day out. Nice that I can punch any collar Freq. of guys dogs that are hunting with me and also I do not have to be to picky on what collars i buy. Great range and you just need to get used to it. I think that all the Tracking systems are good and it is no different than buying a vehicule it is all what you want and get used to using. JMO

I got my R-400 directly from http://www.com-spec.com/R400/ they sell as falconry receiver.

It has all of 216, 217, 218, 219 , but no 220, 221

First I called them up, but they told me would not sell to me because I hunt with dog.

I order online for $500, book say $200 trade in for any receiver work or not, so I sent in my old CB scanner, I got $200 back.

I got R-400 for $299 , great bargain !
