I would look at Bright eyes or cajun lights. I have had both and am well pleased. Have ordered several products from night light and their name brand equipment doesn't seem to hold up as well as other brands.JMO but i would look elsewhere for my light

I just dropped about $90 on the Tracker light on one of the first pages of the magazine and it is awesome! Have used it for about a month now and have only had to charge it a couple of times, lasts forever and is brighter than I ever imagined...I was most impressed on how fast it arrived to my house! Just my .02...

I have the Halogen version and is very good. I bought it in September of 2000, and I bought 5 bulbs for spare. I think I have use only one. Mine is the old version without the handle.

I recently bought Bright Eyes 21 Volts Featherlight Belt, but it is more expensive and the only reason I boughted it was because the difference of weights. 4 pounds Versus 1.2 Pounds.

I've had no problems with my Coonhunters favorite w/o the handle for about 4 years now. Charge seems to hold replaced a bulb a couple of times but that's about it. Good luck, Keystonepaul

I also have the coon hunter's favorite II. Bought it 3 years ago and I haven't had a single problem with it. I don't see the need for the higher voltage lights. I rarely turn my 6V up all the way anyway, so brightness is not an issue with me. 95% of the time I have it set as low as it will go without turning off and it's plenty bright to see a coon from 75 yds away. It will easily last all night or several nights if you're only hunting a couple hours each night. The only reason I could imagine needing anything brighter would be if you're spotlighting all the way across a big field, which is illegal where I'm from. A lighter weight belt light would be nice, but I'm happy with what I have. I just wear suspenders so it doesn't pull my belt down.

I have hunted with a 6 volt nitelight for 15 years (same battery) might not be the brightest but has been very dependable, BUT I am purchasing a Smart Light here really soon.........

I'm not bashing anybody equipment at all. I personally don't like there pricing. I found a dealer in jarrettsville md called www.splitoakkennelsupply.com that I have a 21v belt and he's building me a 6v something simular to the 6v orange K-light for a
I'd say 75 percent less than any other dealer on the web. Before u defanantly spend your money id look at his web site and also give him a call he has some great christmas priceing that I believes has FREE shiping to your door! Good luck with you choice. Like I said JMO that's all but I would save the money. He's a better quailty, better service, for less money.- Tony

I got the six volt connhunters favorite and about a week after warranty the switch quit. Besides it being a little heavy after a while its a decent light. I use 220 lumen led flashlight with an adjustable spot. 30 bucks and worthmore to me than that light

I have three of the six volt hallogen pro and have never had any problems. As long as your batteries are in good shape along with your bulbs they are bright enough to shine the top of river bottom cottenwoods. I also use krypton bulbs.
