i know there have been a lot of thing on the icoms but they are gone so any way i just bought one with yagi antana and all , i did not get a booster for it but can i get a small deractional antana for it , not a minni antana like wildlife has but just a plain old rubber one, and is this better than a maxima ??

I bear hunt here in West Virginia, and I like mine. I will say that the other tracking boxes will sometimes get out just a little bit futher. Most of the time you really can't tell much difference. I have a yagi antenna on mine and it works great. I also like that you can program all of the collars that you want to track, and just flip thru them when you are tracking. With the guys that I hunt with, about half have the Icom to track with.
