I have 2 of the AA changable battery tracking collars and was wondering if I could just use the enginzer lithium AA batterys that they sell at a retail store? Has anybody else tried this? If so, did the collars still work as good with the other lithium batteries?

If your collar takes regular AA batteries, then yes, you can use lithium or rechargeables.

I would think it would be cheaper to go with the rechargeable over the lithium as you will get more use out of the rechargeables.

Just make sure you get some like 2500mah compared to buying 700mah.

They sell the chargers where you can recharge 4 of them in a 12v outlet in the truck or plug it into the wall at home to charge.

i have the marshall tracking collar with the light and i use the lithium had the collar since oct and batteries are still going they dont recomend putting the rechargables in the collar lithiums are more expensive to buy up front but actually save you in the long run

If it says not to use the rechargeable batteries then you'd be best not using them.

I know alot of stuff that uses regular double AA batteries, you can use rechargables.
