I just bought a new brifgt eyes 21 volt with the smart charger. Now my question is after i fully charge the light the next day with out using the light i can put it back on the charger and will charge for just as long as it does when its been used. is this normall does the smart charger just charge for so long no matter if the light has been used or notor do i have a bad battery or charger seems to me if the battery was charged one day and not used then the next day if you put it on the charger it shouldnt charge for that long

this is perfectly normal I have a 28v bright eyes box light and belt light. both the chargers do the same thing. It s the way the charger is desinged. the charger is actually a TRICKLE charger. it will not burn up your battery. do a google search on ADCON electronics and you will see how the charger is desinged to work. and no you dont have a bad battery. if you notice your charger it will say red-charger, green-ready, red blink-FAULT. this fault will also indicate a bad battery. charger it till the green lite comes on and dont charge anymore until you use it or after about 2-3 months.
