It's like turducken only with game critters. Stuff a possum into coon into a young pig into a deer then pit roast it over hickory all day. If you live up north or in the mountains then you stuff the deer into either a moose or elk. With all the extra room in the deer carcass you add onions, sweet potatoes, carrots and apples. Keeps it all moist. You have to give it a name based on what you use. Veni-hoga-possucoon or moosa-veni-hoga-possucoon.

Had to edit it after looking twice, first time I missed seeing the possum. Now I am sure there's a bbq coming up soon.

This reminds me of a old photo some freinds of mine have. A cow had died. Then some one had set traps around her. In one trap in the photo is a bobcat and in another is a coyote. Their question to any one who looks at it is "which one was caught first....".

Make a coon drag or let one go to make its own trail then make a deer drag. Dog chases coon...good dog...dog chases deer...turn knob to 6 and hit the green button.

No Slack for Sarge I can see that LMAO :D :D :D But I was realing looking for one of you hound people to elaberate on how you use these tools to train with a young hound or do reinforcement training on a hound that just needs a tune up. You can't use a whole deer, what do you use on the deer??? Possum or skunk how do you use these as trash breaking aids??? Why would you have a live coon in the mix. Some of you all know this, post it so others that do not want to ask question's learn from this thread. There is more than one way to skin a deer and there is more than one way to train hounds and every hound brings a diferent set of problems to the table. My question is simple How would you all use these training aids :D :D :D :D :D

If it is legal Where you live!!!!!!!! Don't worry It was trapping season here and I let the critters go and hit the dang dear with my good rig and had to get a permit from the county sheriff.

Sarge, it doesn't work that way. I know you like to post everything in the General Forum section, but there is way more to the forum than just the General Forum section.

As soon as I opened that can of worms, I knew were this thread was headed. I have worked 31 hours in two days, I was trying to keep it where I could find it quick. Have to be back on the Job site in five hours. But fully understand Drew :D :D

Ok how do you all use these training aids?????

How to use this for training, there is all ready a lot about breaking dogs from geting
after possum. What if you just kill the possum, then put a shocker on the hound, then
let the dog smell the possum, when he smell it hit him with the power not much just
a little, do that 3 times in one day, then the next day do the same thing, now that is 6
times you have shock the dog. He should know when he gets after a possum he will be
shocked. so when you are hunting and he trees in the ground or up a tree or any where
he will be shocked. There is a lot of people say dont shock a dog if he is treeing, but this
way he will know he is being shocked for the possum, and not for treeing. I have never
did this so I dont know if it will work or not, but I think that I will try it some time.

Just a question??? Why would you kill a live training aid?? Why not put the possum in tall grass rigged to a fencer were the possume is in no danger, that way the hound needs to use it's nose to get to it, once it gets to the possum and it moves, The hound gets more excided :D what is the hound going to do?, it's going to get an education on the smell, Just an Idea, let the possum go were it came from, but the hound learns :D :D :D Do not do this on a green hound that hasn't learned to track and tree the right game JMO

Here is a question, I would love to know, I have been told if you live trap a skunk in a smaller cage they can not spray??? This would be a great training aid because a skunk trail is alot diferent than a skunk that has spraid
