i want to comp. hunt this dog its papers look great,
its almost 3 years old she will run a track some times barking 2 or 3 times with a cold nosed dog but 9 out of 10 times they will be to the tree she threws 3 locates and is treed....
is there any way to break her from this, because i can drop her in one spot and her maybe tree one coon all night and same night drop my cold nosed dog in and it tree 3 or 4

Ive known a lot of Nite hunt dogs just like her...The better (night hunt) dogs are warm nosed and are semi - silent on track...You want them to hit a good track and tree as quick as possible with the coon. You dont want them running older cold tracks.Because you only have 2 hours to tree your coon in..In most casts you hunt one dump tree a coon with all the dogs.Call time out and move to another woods. If your lucky you can hunt 5-7 or more woods in 2 hours..

Hunt her alone as much as possible.I have and know guys that hunt a dog alone for at least a year to finnish them out...Its also the only way to really know how good your dog is.She could be mee-tooing along with the other dogs.Ive known guys that sold there good old broke dog. To hunt there really nice young dog.Come to find out there young dogs could not tree a coon without the old dog...Thats why you need top hunt all your dogs alone at least some. Just to see what they can do alone..
