My 3 yr old B&T used to have one of the best locates anyone could ask for when he got treed but just stop locating at all what could cause this? |

tmartin i really have no ideal to be honest. i had a cur dog that would locate when he was young but stopped when he turned about 2. i have a walker that never located until she turned 6 years old. are you seeing as many coons with your dog since he stopped locateing? |

Yes sir I see just as many maybe more since he quit locating I just like a dog with a good locate |

It's Been so hot here in TN a few nights that dogs just aint sounded right not treeing hard and not really locating good.It's supposed to cool off this week though. Thank goodness. |

if your seeing as many coons now as when hes was locating then i dont know why he stoped locating. ive seen dog that wouldnt locate when they wasnt sure of the tree and locate when they were sure. it has been hot here in tn. my dog dont tree near as hard in this hot weather, but as long as she barks enough for me to find her i dont care lol. i dont run my mouth near as much when iam hot either.
