i have a 3 year old redbone that hunts great in groups but acts like she doesn't know what shes doing by herself how can i fix this

You probably just need to take it out alone as much as you can. Some dogs just don't range as deep by themselves. It needs to build confidence & it will never get as much as doing it alone.

I agree....I would hunt that dog by itself from now on....makes for some long boring nights at first....but pays off in the end.

It's hard to say at 3 years of age. I would take the others advice an hunt her by herself. If she doesn't straighten up by the time she is 5 then I would call it quits because that's about as good as A dog she is going to be
