do you think she did that on purpose? she might have got motion sickness. maybe you need to ride in that hot dog box for a few miles and not be able to see where you ae going you might wanna sh*t in the dog box too.

I have one dog that goes out of excitement. If we go for a drive she is fine for a long time unless we go to the woods that are only about 5 minutes from my house. She has been on very long trips all over the county with no trouble. As we get to the end of the road to the woods there is a gate where everyone has to stop. As soon as I stop to open the gate she starts to whine and fidget and we have about 1/2 a minute to get her out of the car or else she loses all control and it isn't pretty. She does not do it on purpose and acts very embarrased when it happens. Maybe your dog was REALLY happy to be going for a ride  and couldn't handle the excitement. Unfortunately, I have a car not a truck with a dog box so she is no longer welcome on car trips to the woods  .

well she barks all the time... i think she did it when i stopped for like maybe 10 minutes... im pretty sure she did it out of spite... because i had gotten her outta the box for a good 20 minutes like ten minutes before

I think if it was a really big pile the dog really had to go. I seriously doubt the dog did it out of spite. If it was from being upset, car sick, or over-excited then hitting the dog or booting it in the backside will guarantee the dog does it again because it will think it is going to be punished and doesn't know how to avoid it.

I always let my dog run a few minutes and empty out before they go in the box. They don't like to lay in their mess any more than we like them to.

Sometimes nature just calls at a bad time.I'm sure it's happened to you, she just didn't have the option of pulling the truck over and hitting the woods like you do.If it persists, though, try feeding her in the morning so she'll have all that done before she gets in the box.
