Hunt her by herself until her confidence and independance gets up where it needs to be. Have you ran this youngster with older dogs at a young age?

you should be able to tell when she's babblin or actually gets struck in. when she babbles give her a easy shrt nik with the shocker. hunting her hard and often (alone) will cut out a bunch of that crap.

Another thing you can try is when cutting the dog with other dogs right before cutting grab a hand full of leaves insert them into the dogs mouth hold shut untill you cut loose it will take her a lil bit to get them spit out so she can bark this usually helps stop the babbling. But allways slowes it down

Im running an 7-8 month old walker pup who babbles constantly. any suggestions on how to shut her up without ruining her. she has put a released coon in a tree by herself but whenever she is out hunting she just runs her mouth. sometimes sounding like she is tracking and other times just barking to bark. any suggestions besides a bullet cause that isnt an option?

Genetic. Too many comp dogs. Just hope maturity helps. I'd put her up for a while.

I know this is an old post but... I also have a young dog that babbles at other dogs. I trained her alone and never hunted her with another dog.She will tree all night by herself. I try hunting with my brothers dog and she looks stupid and just barks. Is it too late to fix?
