stay close to that dog when your hunting and when he trees a coon hurry up and tie him to that tree for about 15 mins. then shoot the coon out to him. do this over and over. and if possible hunt the dogs with more experienced dogs also. good luck

we ran him with a plder dog that treed a coon a long ways off so we loaded mine up and took him to the tree and he went nuts! so we let him tree a while then petted him up good and squalled  the coon out and he tore it up like crazy it only lasted about 2 mins. he will rear up on the right tree but wont tree or bark. if im right there i can get him easy to and he will stay but not on his own.
